Due to the tremendous call for our services there is critical need for donations.
We are not funded by federal dollars or large corporations. Our donations come
from supporters in communities. THANK YOU!!!

Stigma prevents people from talking about suicide, but teens want to talk, and are talking, about it. They want to find help and find solutions. Young people are accustomed to learning life skills and using them in their lives. The simple life skill that YRSPP teaches and the powerful message that it is OK to ask for help has empowered thousands of teens to get help for themselves as well as helping others they care about.

Daily, we hear from youth telling that they now know that someone cares and that they can make it through the rough times and that this program helped save their life or the life of a loved one.

U.S. Surgeon General David Satcher in his 1999 Call-To-Action stated that ‘Suicide is a National Health Priority’. Suicide is preventable and experts say that it is preventable through awareness and education. Researchers and clinicians have remarked that 'survivor programs' (such as YRSPP) efforts have shown positive effects on lowering suicide numbers.

Your donation goes directly to program efforts* and will help Yellow Ribbon Int'l reach teens and youth. It will help save the lives of our most precious resource our children. (82% program, 18% administration costs)
